Your Skills Assessing Body is Trades Recognition Australia (TRA)
Please read carefully through the requirements. This is a dynamic form which will change depending on your answers.
Even the most robust online systems can fail, so we recommend that, for any questions in this form that require longer answers, you COPY and SAVE those details to a secure, local back-up, such as a document saved elsewhere in your computer's personal files. Alternatively, you may wish to review the questions here, and draft answers offline, before pasting copies of those answers here for upload to Sterling Migration. Either option will provide a quick way to restore your work, save time, and avoid frustration.
You can find detailed information on the Migration Skills Assessment (MSA) via the TRA website. Details of their current processing fees are also available: Application Fees
Please take time to read carefully the Migration Skills Assessment (MSA) Guidelines and the Document Requirements under 1.4 How to apply.
In order to obtain the maximum points available for your Skilled Worker visa application the length of time required for your employment history evidence may be longer than TRA require, however it is important to provide the number of years requested by Sterling Migration (as per 'Work experience in your profession' above) as we have reviewed your case and the requirements needed for a successful visa outcome
If you have any questions regarding the length of employment history being requested please contact your advisor, who will be able to help.
Once you have collated all of the evidence for your skills assessment please upload each item to this form for review by your emigration advisor.
NOTE:
TRA provide a template to download on their 2.3 Employment page. Some of our clients find it easier to draft their statement(s) before approaching previous employers to ensure they contain all the necessary detail. Please ensure accurate employment dates and hours per week are included.
The tasks and duties for your occupation are outlined via the ANZSCO code, which can be viewed on the ABS website. Please ensure your templates are in your/your employers own words, do not copy from the ANZSCO listing.
Please name your files by year and employer eg.
