In order to obtain the maximum points available for your Skilled Worker visa application you must complete the Optional – Skilled Employment Statement (SES). It is important to have assessed the number of years requested by Sterling Migration (as per 'Work experience in your profession' above) as we have reviewed your case and the requirements needed for a successful visa outcome

Once you have collated all of the evidence for your skills assessment please upload each item to this form for review by your emigration advisor.

English language proficiency

AITSL require an Academic version of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Test Report Form (TRF) that shows a score of at least 7.0 for both Reading and Writing; and a score of at least 8.0 for both Speaking and Listening.

The IELTS test scores must appear on a single IELTS TRF and be the result of a single test undertaken during the 24 month period prior to submitting an application.

Skilled Employment Statements (SES)

You can find detailed information on the Skilled Employment Statements page on the AITSL website.

AITSL will assess employment that was:

completed in any country
closely related to your nominated school teacher occupation
undertaken within the past 10 years
undertaken after the completion of four years of higher education study (including completion of a recognised initial teacher education qualification)
undertaken for at least 20 hours per week
undertaken within a registered school setting or early childhood setting
paid employment

Your statements of employment must be on the official letterhead of the employing authority or school, be signed and dated and include the following details and information:

school name
school setting e.g. early childhood/primary, school/secondary school
employer name (if different from school)
employer address
employment start and finish dates (day/month/year) - the finish date for current employment will be based on the date of the employment letter
position/job title
age range of students taught
hours of employment per week

Note: employment as a relief or casual teacher can be included if the employer provides an employment statement which details the average hours worked in a week, total period of time you worked and the school setting in which you worked e.g. early childhood, primary or secondary school, and the age ranges of students taught.

- official government tax records such as income statements/P60, payment summaries/P45, tax group certificates or tax notices of assessment (listing the names of the employer and employee)
